About the event

Steed Cycles x Shore Sirens Workshop #3: On-Trail Fixes

In this workshop, you will learn preventative and corrective ways to handle a mechanical issue while out on the trails. We’ll be sharing tips and tricks from experienced riders and mechanics to help you through your next flat, chain break, derailleur bend, brake lever snap, and whatever else the trails throw your way! You’ll also leave with a list of tools that you won’t leave home without. Be that ride buddy who knows what to do in a jam! BYOBike.

Our workshop will be led by Bridget Penny. Bridget (she/her) is a Universal Bike Institute (UBI) trained Mechanic for Steed Cycles and has been in the bike industry for over a decade. She worked and taught at The Wrench in Winnipeg and instructed for the McDonald’s at-risk youth program. Her passion for educating is only matched by her love of wheel-building.
