About the event
In this workshop, you’ll learn preventative and corrective ways to handle a mechanical issue while out on the trails. We’ll be sharing tips and tricks to help you through your next flat, chain break, derailleur bend and whatever else the trails throw your way! We’ll also be doing hands on tubeless tire repair. You’ll leave with a list of tools that you won’t leave home without and a discount on OneUp Components to boot! Get ready to be that ride pal who knows what to do in a jam! BYOBike.
Our workshop will be led by Bridget Penny. Bridget (she/her) is a Universal Bike Institute (UBI) trained Mechanic for Steed Cycles and has been in the bike industry for over a decade. She worked and taught at The Wrench in Winnipeg and instructed for the McDonald’s at-risk youth program. Her passion for educating is only matched by her love of wheel-building.
$5 from your purchase will go to Indigenous Women Outdoors (IWO) - a nonprofit organization helping Indigenous women and gender expansive community members connect with nature in a low cost environment.
20% discount code on OneUp Components offered at workshop.
